Swoon is one of the most innovative living artists today. In the last few years, she has changed the direction of her work so that in leans more towards public service and this piece is no exception. Swoon ability to make great work outside of the gallery system and help people at the same time is simply amazing. Before this project she was building super-adobe homes for families in Haiti and then soon after converting crack dens in Detroit into works of art that were very accessible to the community in that area.
